Terms of Service
Last updated: July 11, 2026
These terms govern your use of GatherHour, the group scheduling app and website. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
The service
GatherHour lets you share your free time with groups you join, computes when group members’ availability overlaps, and helps you turn those matches into plans. The service is young and evolving: features may change, and while we work hard to keep it reliable, we don’t guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Your account
You sign in with your email address and a one-time code. You’re responsible for keeping access to that email address secure — anyone who controls it can access your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use GatherHour.
Your content
Messages you write and availability you share remain yours. You grant us the license needed to store them, show them to the group members you shared them with, and operate the service — nothing more. When you delete your account, your personal data is deleted and your contributions to group history are anonymized, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Don’t use GatherHour to harass, spam, or harm others, to post unlawful content, or to interfere with the service (probing, scraping, overloading, or circumventing limits). Group chats are shared spaces — what you post is visible to every member of the group. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Termination
You can stop using GatherHour and delete your account at any time, in the app (Profile → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.
Disclaimers and liability
GatherHour is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The app helps coordinate plans — it isn’t responsible for what happens at them, for missed matches, or for plans that fall through. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it (currently: nothing).
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change meaningfully affects your rights, we’ll say so in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
